The contract involved the infill of two of the first floor voids to generate more retail space. The centre is owned and managed by AMP Capital and is one of Perth's most successful retail centres with tenants including David Jones, Myer, Woolworths and Coles.
The major challenge was to undertake the work safely and quickly with minimal disruption to the operation of the shopping centre. It was agreed with AMP Centre Management Team to do the job at night outside of trading hours, with the works area returned to a clear and clean state before the commencement of each retail trading day. Maintenance of public safety was paramount. The project was successfully completed ahead of time.
